BURCU ARIKAN

Having graduated from psychology department in Istanbul University, Burcu Arıkan received her master’s degree in communication from University of Texas Austin. She started her professional career in digital communications. After attending Permaculture Design Course (PDC) in May 2017, Arıkan completed a 1-month internship on “Greening the Desert” under the coordination of Geoff Lawton in September 2017. Since 2016, she conducts studies on how to produce and make healthy, additive-free and organic food more accessible in cities and performs a number of projects in that respect. She has been offering Introduction to Permaculture training programmes with a team of 3 since December 2017. She joined ‘Ek Biç Ye İç’ team in 2018 where she strives to ensure good food production in the city. Organized with contributions of ‘Ek Biç Ye İç’.
