Born in Istanbul, Sekman graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ankara University although he never practiced his profession.

Instead, he decided to focus on successful people and discover how they succeeded so that he could provide guidance to those who want to become successful.

He gave seminars on success in several companies, universities and public institutions. He acted as the success management coach of prominent figures in their path to success. He offered script consulting services for well-known TV series “Çocuklar Duymasın”. Currently, he offers personal success coaching services to individual clients.

Sekman is the founder of Personal Development Centre (www.kigem.com). Established 20 years ago, www.kigem.com is the first personal development website in Turkey. Distinguished as the first person to use “personal development coach” in Turkey, Sekman’s personal mission is to increase the number of successful human beings per sqm in the world.

Having authored 22 books in 22 years, Sekman has sold more than three million copies. His best-selling book, “Her Şey Seninle Başlar” set the record in Turkey in personal development genre with 1,250,000 copies.
