Neslihan İskit, born in Ankara in 1960, is a graduate of T.E.D Ankara College and Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. She started her yoga practice in 2000 and trained as a yoga therapist in order to share with others the changes that yoga has brought to her life. Together with Prof. Bingür Sönmez, M.D., she created the acclaimed Heart Yoga and Heart Treatment programs for cardiac patients. İskit was certified as a yoga instructor at the world’s only accredited yoga university for cardiac patients, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University University in Howrah, India. She has trained worldwide in treating diseases through yoga and continues to offer yoga therapy at Memorial Hospital.
She also leads workshops on yoga for the treatment of stress and back and neck pain at Bilgi University.
