ÖZGÜR BOLAT

Dr. Özgür Bolat received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Education at Boğaziçi University. He then studied psychology of learning at New York University. He also received his master’s degree at Harvard University with scholarships from Fulbright and Turkish Educational Foundation (TEV). Afterwards, he received his doctorate at the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University. Between 2007 and 2008, he studied leadership and conducted research at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He was recognized as Best Young Researcher at an international conference

in New Zealand in 2007. Özgür Bolat initiated the Teacher Leadership Project at schools in 2008. The project is being implemented in more than 100 state and private schools.

Dr. Özgür Bolat currently consults with schools, companies, and TEV, and writes a column on hurriyet.com.tr. He also teaches parents the principles on raising happy and successful children at the Parent’s School through the Growing Family Academy, which he founded.
