A Faculty of Communications graduate from Marmara University, Başak Tecer obtained certificates in training from ILM Institute in London and coaching from Erickson Coaching International. She became an NLP Master Practitioner under Paul McKenna. She started her professional life as a retailer for Boyner Group, followed by a 27-year career as a customer relationship manager and director for major media groups as a customer relationship manager and director. Since 2011 she has been providing consulting services and training in the areas of the psychology of perception, performance management, communication, and persuasion.
Tecer is currently a blogger for the Harvard Business Review. She participates in education projects at Sabancı University and gives seminars on the topics of social and emotional intelligence and corporate loyalty. She is author of the book “Persuasion Engineering.”
